In this beginners guide tutorial I show you how to use the Backpack Radio when deployed for Squad fast-travel / teleport transportation. The key to using this is that you HAVE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE!

If you're lost you will have to respawn to get to the Backpack location, which will remove 20 of the 100 supplies from it. However, if you know your exact location, open up your map, press X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, select the transport request, select the backpack radio, then move the location cursor over your exact position and press A on Xbox / X on PlayStation. On PC Keyboard and mouse, opwn up the map, double left click, press ESC, select the transport request, select the backpack radio, then move the location cursor over your exact position and left click.

The exact way that Backpack Spawn Radio's work can be edited in the Game Master properties, as especially during the Conflict Game Mode they are a very powerful tool for keeping the pressure on when attacking or defending objectives.

Using the "Transport Request" function of the backpack rather than re-spawning directly at the back-pack allows you to instead respawn at a base with an armory, collect your loadout (or spawn with it) then teleport to the Radio Backpack, all without depleting supplies from the device. In fact you could take a large backpack with supplies in it, to replenish the backpack for direct respawns.

At the time of recording this video the cool-down between transport requests / fast travel teleport is 10 mins.
