In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how to deploy one of the new Mortars available in the Experimental Branch of Arma Reforger, and get an AI NPC squad-mate to load, aim & fire it for you.
You can get a mortar position by spawning it in with Game Master / Zeus, building it at a base, or by deploying a construction truck to build it.
You build the mortar by placing the blue-print, then using your field-shovel to construct it. Once built you can command your NPC AI Soldier to "get into" the mortar. All you then have to do is look where you want to mortar rounds to go, give the command, and the AI NPC Team member will do all the tricky calculations and send the ordinance on it's way!
