At least that's what it feels like. The last month or so, armor has felt as though its effectiveness has gotten so bad that I have begun to question why I wear armor in the first place. Full armor on dead PMCs, getting one tapped by low penetration ammo in fully protected areas with upwards of level 5 plates. It all feels so... wrong. Complicated, yes. We're used to that. We play Tarkov, after all. But things feel wrong on many levels. It's a kind of instinctual feeling that is extremely hard to describe but has come from thousands of hours in the game, and things just feeling not right for the wrong reasons. So, let's go over this problem, some of the main issues with it, and the potential resolutions to it (if any). Let's talk.
