So Armored Core: Nexus made the largest structure changes the franchise has seen up to this point. And while Nexus simply overhauled the Core formula, there are some games in the series that make some changes so large that they almost feel gimmicky. Armored Core 2: Another Age for example, was a 103 mission long expansion that completely removed the Arena for the sake of mission variety. But you know what they haven’t done? A game where they got rid of the missions and entirely focused on the Arena. That is… until now. This is Armored Core: Nine Breaker. A fully Arena focused AC game.
