Armored Core (PS1) Gameplay
99This is Gameplay Footage for the original Armored Core on the PS1.
I have technically never played all the way through this, but I find it hard to put it down every time I have popped it into my system. This series is incredibly addictive. Granted, I didn't even bother to save my progress after capturing this footage either.
NOTE: The difficult controls are 100% customizable. This does not mean there is dual analog support as this game either predates, or came out right around the time that Sony released the dual analog controller (not the dual shock, the one before that, but after the big flight stick analog controller they had around launch). However, you can set the controls to movement with the face buttons, and aiming with the D-pad (with attacks and boost handled by the triggers), which makes for an easier time than the default controls.
Does anyone else remember how From Software was always awesome, but only a small handful of gamers ever knew it until Demon Souls.
