Armored Warriors (Powered Gear in Japan) is a fantastic, mech beat 'em up game released by Capcom on the CPS-2 hardware back in 1994. This gem of a game isn't all that well-known due to the fact that it never received a home console port, and wasn't included on any of the Capcom arcade compilations for various systems. I love beat 'em ups, and the myriad of stellar arcade releases by Capcom in my favorite genre gives me many to choose from in terms of naming my all-time favorite...and while it'd be difficult to actually choose an all-time favorite, this game would certainly be in the running for the crown. Yes indeed, It really is that awesome, so for fans of arcade beat 'em ups, and just great games in general, this is one of those games that you simply must play at some point.
