Art Mobile Apps: Indraw (Review in description)
I thought this app would be a little more in depth then it was
An honest review
For an app overall review verdict read the bottom.
This app is fine and all but I half expected it to be a bit more... How do you put it? In depth, like actually being able to draw inside the lines... Like a pencil. Its thumbnail alone, looks like you should be able to.
This was not the case. I do not mean to be harsh but.. In my professional artist opinion.
It's a fill in the space. Where you pick your color and it paints that space itself. This is fine if you are not good at coloring inside the lines but I would have preferred a penciling effect that I am personally in control of over that. This makes me just want to return to my classic pencil and paper traditional arts more then waste my time on this app for any other reason outside quick satisfaction in a video in creating Satisfying Videos. It is satisfying there is definately that as many of these sorts of aps are.
The closest to shading that, I find you can get on this app is either mastering the art of Cell Shading or when to use your radial effects, over base bold colors. To give your image some character.
There's nothing much in the way of custom smudging, blurring or blending either here.
It's a very simple app for a quick burst of color or satisfaction.
There's nothing too different from this one and other coloring book apps.
The main difference is that after each drawing. Unlike many apps of this type, you will be guaranteed to get an advertisement!
Yee haw! baby.
