Arvis vs Saias Infernal GHB: Father and Son

TLDR: Father teaches his son that he still has much to learn about the ways of the grill.

Wow. This one was a positioning NIGHTMARE. I don't even know where to begin, this might be a long description because a lot of things went into this clear.

First off, there's no way in hell this can be cleared with Valflame. Saias OHKOs me no matter what I do.

Second, there's almost no way to safely bait on turn 1, the mage cav has a bladetome with 3 tactic buffs, and the red cav is raw power.

Third, the archer has a brave bow, so I can't ever let him initiate, and the flier has guidance so I have to look out for that. Oh yeah the armor also has Pivot, as if Guidance wasn't enough.

Fourth, Saias is a blue mage with instant Glacies AND a Res Tactic bringing him up to 46 Res. Can't take a hit from him AND he doesn't die to a single AoE+Desperation bladetome combo.

So unfortunately, this marks the end of the streak of the AoE domination. I'd have to have it hit Saias twice, and one of them be indirect for this to work. Having said that, I was pretty sure the only other way to even kill him was brute force. So I went for the hardest hitting special, Dragon Fang. Now I just need to survive the first few turns and then make sure it procs on Saias... easier said that done.

Now how do I even initiate. I tried a multidude of way, right hand side wasn't an option because Saias just Guidances in and OHKOs someone. So I had to maneuver my way around the left hand side. I couldn;t initiate against the red mage because then no one could reach Arvis. I tried Smite, it works, but then Arvis can't really position out the dancer, so it was really awkward.

Draw Back+WoM. I basically had to get the Archer to get me into WoM range. Then use Draw Back twice to get my dancer to safety, but then I was stuck on turn 2. Eventually, I realized I just have to Draw Back and WoM myself to the other side of the map, while also making the enemy go down that side on turn 1 instead. How did I do that? LEVEL 8 OLIVIA baits everyone down that way.

After that, I had a few enemies down and I just had to make sure to stay out of Guidance range until my Dragon Fang was up and the rest is history.
