Just as I was making my way back to the city of Arx, I get jumped by a Lich and his Mummy companion. Now, Mummies in Arx Fatalis can be incredibly annoying. Sure, they aren't very tough and they're actually very slow, but they've got this ability to paralyze you and they're NOT afraid of using it. After draining a few potions I decide to switch to my bow and do some old-school kiting. Eat that, Lich!

Arx Fatalis is an underrated first-person RPG developed by the French Arkane Studios. The game draws heavily from the classic Ultima Underworld games to create a game with a very strong atmosphere.

For those who didn't get the game at GOG.Com, here's a patch that will upgrade your patch to v1.19. Arkane Studios made this patch for GOG so users would be able to run the game in higher resolution.

P.S.: I apologize for the rather terrible quality of the video. Recording gameplay is rather taxing on my low-end PC. So don't bother watching it in HD.
