Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore may look like those terrible Zelda CD-i games, but that's the only thing they have in common. The cutscenes are wonderfully cheesy, with all kinds of wacky heroes and villains. There's not much to the story, but there's an impressive amount of characters. Be warned, if you're not good at finding secret items you may have to do an infuriating amount of backtracking in this. You need to find hidden candles to progress, and if you miss some it's back to completed areas to try to find em. There's also a lot of fetch quests, which might turn some players off. But the whole thing is such a ridiculous blast from the past that I felt the need to keep playing until I saw the end. Until Arzette 2: The Wand of Faramore!
