While attacking in Wintergrasp, you have to get in flag capping range, by default, they will have some people on the cannons in their base. So if you get your entire team in flag capping range, you will hold on to the flag, so those pesky ALLY can not build Catapults early and wipe your raid! 90% of all matches for Wintergrasp are predetermined by whoever wins the first big team fight. It's not impossible to win the match if you've lost the first team fight, but it certainly becomes a very much uphill battle to do so, and all stars must align properly!
P.S. In the courtyard, the opening in the middle gate, if you position your Demolisher just right, you can shoot Boulders through the opening and hit the Main Gate directly and just Ram the Inner South wall at the same time!
