This is how those Amy Rose animating sessions have been going! I am proud to showcase her basic sprites! She's technically fully playable, as of 20/06/2025.

But I'm not gonna stop there. I think in another month I'll have finished the rest of her animations and scripted her full moveset from Sonic Advance 1. I don't think this would be possible without the knowledge I have gained developing my side project, Ashura The Glitch.

The way Amy plays in SA1 is very special to me, and to recreate her in my fan game and see all these consistently smooth animations that don't go off model makes me very happy.

I shall continue to use these techniques to overhaul Sonic, and add Tails and Knuckles too!

I am planning to drop a new demo this year too, so you too can experience AS2R as Amy, as well as a fully re-animated Sonic, with a save system and Green Hills Act 1. Stay tuned for more news regarding that.
