Ashes of Creation - Current State of My Hype!
88As I continue to scramble to catch up on the library of information that's come out for Ashes of Creation thus far, I'd like to update the status of my hype and concerns! For a quick tldr of my HYPE:
- The game looks beautiful
- Customization is absolutely top tier!
- The more I learn about the node and governance systems the more I love em
- The way that caravans and sieges interplay sounds great!
... and Concerns:
- The complexity of systems may be too much for the general audience, which will result in a niche player base (hopefully that's still a sustainable business model)
- While the systems sound awesome and super-robust, we still don't have a clear idea of the core game play. Even without nodes, the game needs to be fun!
