We made something functional and silly! If you want to play it for yourself for whatever reason or look at the concept art and unimplemented models, you can download it all from our page on the Game Jam site here: http://globalgamejam.org/2014/games/aspects-self

Game Description:
You play as a man suffering from depression, trapped in an otherworldly plain of existence. In order to return to reality, you must obtain elemental aspects of yourself, guarded by your inner demons. These aspects grant you new abilities and outlooks on life, however each aspect has its own set of positive and negative effects, and while each aspect must be gained to topple the obstacles standing in your path, you must then learn a new aspect to counteract the baneful effects of the last. The theme is "We don't see things how they are, we see things how we are."

This is a game jam project I worked on with 4 other people over this past weekend for the 2014 Global Game Jam. I did a bunch of character and creature models for the game along with a bit of design and writing on the side. Of the planned models we were only able to implement 2 (the main character and Yeti boss) and only finished one level out of a planned 5. Not fantastic, but it's certainly a start!
