IN this video we compare the recently released Assassin's Creed 3 for the PC with the Xbox 360 version. All footage is from early parts (the first 30 minutes) of the game, to avoid spoilers of the story!
You can see a clear difference between both the coloring of the game, created by a mixture of improved lighting for the PC version of AC3, as well as the extra texture resolution.
The console version is still reasonable, but the PC version certainly has the edge, especially when Anti-Aliasing and Anstropic Filtering are applied. Frame rate for the PC version of Assassin's Creed 3 remains stable, Ubisoft did a fairly good job on the port.
There is also footage of the PC version of AC3 running on the lowest possible settings (although at 720P) for those of you with more modest systems. Even with the lowest settings for the PC, AC3 looks about as good as it does on consoles.
