With Hitman 5 Absolution finally released for the PC and consoles, we can get into a basic comparison of just how the different versions stack up against each other.
For the most part, Absolution on the Xbox 360 is not too bad at all, although lack of high resolution textures and aliasing are noticeable in some areas in particular, such as foliage and areas with a lot of color detail. The character models on both the PC and XBox 360 look great, so don't worry too much if you're using the Xbox 360 version of HItman Absolution.
ON the different settings for the PC, even the low settings look good, and I suspect that the Console versions of Hitman Absolution use a mix of low and medium settings. Once you start getting into the medium setting territory the system starts to really pull ahead. And as you can see from the high and max quality settings, the PC versions of Hitman Absolution is by far the better looking. I still am not a huge huge fan of the trees and foliage, but the PC version does look better than console. It still isn't up to the lofty standards of say Crysis 2 however.
All footage is from early on in the game, and has been created to avoid any spoilers! Xbox 360 and PC versions are both 720P, so as to keep things as fair as possible between the 2 systems. If you'd like to see the game running at 1080P, you can throw in a comment :)
