Hi this is Ryan with Screen Rant’s featured news of the day.
The video game adaption films “Assassin’s Creed” and “Splinter Cell” have yet to be released, but according to reports, they’re both already being prepped for sequels.
You may know Assassin’s Creed as the Ubisoft video game franchise where you play a character who uses stealth abilities to complete missions and take down opponents.
And Splinter Cell, as the Ubisoft video game franchise where you play a character who uses stealth abilities to complete missions and take down opponents.
“Assassin’s Creed”, now in post-production, stars Michael Fassbender as the lead character and is set to hit theaters on December 21st// on the Splinter Cell side of things, Tom Hardy is attached the project, which is said to be released sometime in 2017.
With such big name actors starring in such popular and established franchises, it’s easy to see why the studios believe they have some sure-wins on their hands.
But the big actor big franchise formula hasn’t always worked in the past--
Do you think that Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell will be successful enough to warrant sequels? Let us know what you think in the comment section.
