In this sequence, Connor leaves his home to start training.

Either run or fast travel to the Davenport Homestead. (Fast traveling works differently than in previous AC games. You can now move to any fast travel points just by interacting with it on your map. The only restriction is that you can't fast travel while in conflict or during a mission.)

Approach the Davenport Manor and knock on the door to encounter Achilles.
Follow on screen instructions until one night, Connor meets some soldiers snooping around the property.

This starts a fight with the optional objective of not losing more than half your health. This is pretty simple if you make sure to avoid trying to kill streak officers; (they're resistant to being kill streaked by small weapons). You could try taking many of them out with your arrows. Another option is to disarm and steal a musket from one of them. The musket should allow you to counter-kill effectively.

Afterwards, Achilles finally accepts Connor and divulges secrets.
