0Mirage is a curious entry in the series - what was, at one time, one of my favorite franchises. The game harkens back to the original Assassin's Creed, but it can't let go of its modern sensibilities. So the combat ends up being extremely unfulfilled, the level design is atrocious, and the narrative isn't particularly exciting.
On the other hand, I like how much smaller the map is from other AC games, and the "investigation" element is a nice twist on the original game's formula. It is hard rooting for Basim, though, knowing how his character plays out in Valhalla, so there is that...
