Assassin's Creed Odyssey is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. It is the eleventh major installment in the Assassin's Creed series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 5, 2018.
The game continues the story arc of Layla Hassan, also assisted by fellow Assassins Victoria Bibeau, Kiyoshi Takakura, and Alannah Ryan. The Animus events are set four centuries before Assassin's Creed Origins, and the creation of the Hidden Ones (the forerunners to the Brotherhood of Assassins). Set in the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta from 431 to 422 BC. Players get to choose either Alexios or Kassandra on their Spartan journey, fighting on both sides of the conflict, as they attempt to find their family and eliminate the mysterious Cult of Kosmos.
