Before embarking on the last missions of the campaign I spent quite a few hours clearing out enemy outposts, finishing side quests and exploring the world.Hitting the max level and defeating an end game elephant (that's a phrase you never thought you'd hear!) were satisfying milestones along the way, and even though ACO is nowhere near as big as The Witcher 3 (one of its most obvious sources of inspiration) it's still pretty impressive to keep discovering huge, highly distinct and often stunningly beautiful areas after more than 40 hours of gameplay.
