You need two walls that form a corner, a horse and Altair. Park your horse to the corner so that there forms an "acute angle" or whatever they call 'em. Jump towards it, and Altair should slip on through the wall towards which you jumped.

I like how the developers keep a lot of collision around the distant mountains, allowing you to go wander around the place. Annotations contain some more comments as to not spoil the video's surprises too early.
