Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - Mission Warp Glitch (Speedrun exploit, +Early Activities)
Usually you have to physically travel to an Activity or Mission, via land, before you are able to begin it. However, here's a menu exploit that lets you warp directly to your next (or unlocked) Mission, and also gives you early access to Activities.
EDIT: This vid is done on New Game.
Instructions are in the video, it's pretty straightforward.
Notes about the Mission warp glitch:
1. In a speedrun, with this glitch, you'd be constantly moving to your next Mission directly from the menu. You'd spend nearly no time having to travel across large areas to reach your next Mission prompt. Saving lots of time.
2. When you activate a Mission from the menu with this glitch, it's not actually a 'Replay', the game considers it to be an actual completion.
3. You can actually skip entire chapters with this glitch, but I've yet to test if the next Sequence will unlock if an entire chapter is skipped. So there could be more to come...
Notes about accessing Activities before you should be able to:
1. With this glitch, you can access all your Activities as soon as the 'Freedom of The Press' Mission becomes active (all except for the Boss fights).
2. Completing an Activity early makes the game give you no rewards, but the game still plays those 'exciting sounds' as if you did get money!
3. The game normally lets you access one of its final Sequences if you've completed a large number of Activities.
So this begs the question: what happens if you complete all Activities before the game thinks you have access to them? Will the game unlock this later sequence? And what becomes of all the Missions you never did? Can gear be skipped? And what may be the consequences?
