When you're facing the large asylum building in front of you, move around it to the right until you've reached the south wall. You can climb the building here and enter via a back entrance up above. Loot the chest and climb down the ladder. You'll most likely face a guard right away, so take him out with regular combat (this is allowed, but if you wish you can try and strangle any other guards you come across if you want to keep them alive; this is trickier though). In any case, several more guards are patrolling this large hall (down below), but you can ignore them for now.

Move along the walkway, past the cabinet in which you can hide and inspect the corner (ignore the cell block up ahead, and don't go downstairs either). There's a hole you can slide through in this corner (use Free Running). Immediately move to the left to reach the designanted vantage point. Various objectives now unlock. You can free the nurse in the north part of the asylum, you can attempt a more unique assassination method (see further below - part of the main mission), and you can do the optional 'challenge' where you halt the electroconvulsive therapy session on a patient.

We'll begin with the rescuing of the nurse. Go back to the hall and turn left (north). You'll soon reach another large room. One guard is patrolling the upper walkway; take him out first. Scan the area to spot two more guards down below, one near the fireplace and one soon patrolling the lower area. Air Assassinate the latter, then move up to the first one and take him out however you like. It's quite possible another (third) guard will come investigate from the northeast part of the asylum; take him out as well. Proceed through the northeast part (when facing the stairs, to the left) and take out the guard standing at a table, then continue to the nurse. The guy holding the key can usually be found in the large room you just came from, but he's marked in any case, so close in on him and loot the key from him. Head back to the nurse and open the doors for her.

You now have two options on how to proceed. One option is to backtrack the way you came, going back to the large room, up the stairs and through the hall you came, sliding back through the hole and then entering the cell hall. The other option is to head through the doors you just opened, scale up the building right in front of you, climb up and over it and locate the open window on the exact other side, then move in from here. You'll have to slide through the nearby hole here to reach the cell hall. Once here, take out the nearby patrolling guard if he's closeby, otherwise take out the guard standing in the cell hall with his back towards you.

Once you've taken out both guards, head to the end of the hall to spot two guards performing electroconvulsive 'therapy' (ECT) on a patient. Stuff like that would even make Jack Nicholson go mad. Drop down and first defeat the patrolling guard around here, possibly air assassinating him, then double assassinate the guys giving the ECT. Turn to the right and head down the stairs in the corner.

There's another guard around the corner, so be prepared. Head to the end of the hall and into the morgue. Strangle the guard and identify the young doctor by pressing the right stick. After that 'identify' the corpse (if you hadn't done both already) and carry it to the cabinet in the room next to the morgue, marked by the skull indicator. After this, all you have to do is lay down on the autopsy carriage. You can then assassinate Dr. Elliotson as you're driven automatically into the anatomical theater. After the assassination, unlock the nearby door (it has a sign with 'offices' next to it), turn left in the hall, and then turn right and head to the end of the hall to reach an exit. Simply exit the premises to finish the memory.
