Assassin's Creed: Unity è un videogioco sviluppato da Ubisoft Montreal e pubblicato da Ubisoft. È l'ottavo capitolo della serie originale di Assassin's Creed e il primo totalmente sviluppato per console next-gen. Il titolo doveva essere pubblicato per le piattaforme PlayStation 4, Xbox One e Microsoft Windows il 28 ottobre 2014[1] ma è stato rinviato all'11 novembre 2014 in Nord America e al 13 novembre 2014 in Europa.[2] Il sistema di parkour, come quello del combattimento, è stato rivisto rendendolo maggiormente fluido, funzionale e realistico. Le animazioni si presentano più realistiche e complete rispetto ai precedenti capitoli della serie. Il gioco per la prima volta nella serie introduce il multiplayer cooperativo. I giocatori possono entrare nelle taverne, che fungono da centri sociali, dove si può vedere se i propri amici stanno giocando a Unity. Assassin's Creed Unity is a historical action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released in November 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is the seventh major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the successor to 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with ties to 2014's Assassin's Creed Rogue. Set within Paris during the French Revolution, the single-player story follows Arno Dorian in his efforts to expose the true powers behind the Revolution.
The game retains the series' third-person open world exploration as well as introducing an improved melee combat, parkour and stealth system. Assassin's Creed Unity introduces cooperative multiplayer to the Assassin's Creed series, letting up to four players engage in narrative-driven missions and explore the open-world map.
