This is a let's play of the first half-hour of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Xbox One X. My intention is to play the game on the previous generation for a few hours and when the Series X arrives, I'll start a new playthrough to see the differences.

Excuse the poor gameplay moments, I just played Watch Dogs Legion before this and still had to adapt to the different controls :D

Some first impressions:
- It's a more cinematic experience with a more dynamic camera, taking inspiration from God Of War
- The combat is even more brutal than in AC Odyssey, with decapitations and finishing moves
- The snowy setting is fantastic and I love how the snow reacts when you walk through it
- The singing at the start was a bit cringy and the lipsync seemed to lag a bit behind on the voices, I hope this is better on the Series X|S
- I love the nickname Wolf-kissed, Eagle bearer was awesome, but this is next-level badass
