And here's Assembly, where Witch Beam talks about (among other things) propeller mines, "Little Android", and the color orange. =)

One interesting(?) fact about Assembly is that it originally started out as 4-2 (Relay was 4-1). But when Shiitake was added to the game, players new to the game tended to want to try her out on the stage right after she was unlocked (Shiitake unlocks after 3-5)... and since Relay isn't really a good level to learn basic Shiitake strategies on, a lot of these players apparently had fairly frustrating first experiences with the new character. =p Of course, making Relay more Shiitake-beginner-friendly probably would've resulted in fairly drastic changes to the level... so instead, the Witch Beam team decided simply to switch Relay and Assembly. Which is why Assembly is now 4-1 instead of 4-2. =)


Oh, and if anybody was wondering, I did intentionally stay on/near the initial hexagonal floor plate during this run. ^^ As mentioned in my "1-hexagon battle" video, the initial floor plate is a pretty nice one, since it has no gaps or walls to impede movement or attacks. Of course, this run wasn't a proper "1-hexagon battle" (I did leave the hexagon quite a number of times!)... but I did manage to keep the initial hexagon around for the entire run... which was definitely helpful in the more crowded conditions of VPC4! ^^
