For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So, playing through the game with Cadence using only the Boots of Pain (i.e. no weapon other than at the very beginning and the very end) is actually something I thought about quite a while back (before Amplified, I think?)... but I never quite got around to following up on the idea... ^^; Until now, anyway. =)
During a recent Mary run, I encountered some 1-1 Boots of Pain... which got me thinking about "Boots-only" again. I didn't take the Boots with Mary, but I made sure to write down the Seed # once the run ended, so I could later try the seed with Cadence. And that's what this is. ^_^
This run... was actually supposed to be a test run, to help me figure out what I needed to learn and practice ("Boots-only" strats!). Basically, I'd just see how far I got before something unexpected ended my run...
Somehow, though, I managed to make it all the way through! ^^;; I definitely made a lot of mistakes, of course... but if you watch carefully, you can actually see me learning some things as I go! =)
Anyway, here it is... my first ever "Boots of Pain challenge" win! Hope you enjoy!
