So... after having completed VPC4 Collider+ with Coral, I started thinking about trying the level with Shiitake... and, well, I finally got around to it. =)

Of course, I strongly suspected that Shiitake would give me a bit more trouble than Coral, mostly because of the sub-boss Liquorice battle (Coral's Plasma Field can be quite useful against (any VPC) Liquorice, because of the way she tries to avoid it... but one of Shiitake's biggest advantages against (VPC1) Liquorice (at max weapon power, Shiitake's Primary can one-hit knock-down Liquorice!) won't work in VPC4, due to the extra health she has in VPC4)! And as it turns out, my suspicion turned out to be correct. ^^;

Anyway, long story short... I got a lot of practice with the phases leading up to the Liquorice battle. ^.^ And gradually adjusted my Liquorice-phase strats to concentrate slightly more on the other enemies... unless a opportunity presented itself to attack Liquorice without significant risk of the Chain Timer expiring (Shiitake's Secondary is pretty useful for this, since the explosions can refresh the Chain Timer if both Liquorice and other enemies are in the same general area)!

And eventually... this run happened. And despite the challenges along the way, this was actually a lot of fun to record. =)

[Also, wow, with this Shiitake win, I've now gotten VPC4 Collider+ S+s with all nine characters...! Which honestly, was something I wasn't quite sure I'd be able to manage, way back when the level was first added to the game, so... yay! ^_^]
