Assetto Corsa Mod: Toyota Supra JGTC 1996 | High Speed Ring [Test Drive]
104Another Gran Turismo track mod with a new car mod I'm trying. Behold, the return of the 1996 Castrol Supra GT! This was created by Zinski, someone that's on GTPlanet. He's made this along with a lot of other nice car mods including a lot of IMSA GT race cars from the 80s and early 90s. I'll have to showcase those at some point.
Anyway, I personally really like this mod. I never expected anyone to have a mod made on the 1996 JGTC Toyota Supra. I honestly was expecting the 1997 Castrol Tom's Supra if anything first with all of the Gran Turismo model conversion mods I've seen. One great thing about this mod is that it also includes other liveries such as the Denso Sard livery from the 1995 Supra LM and the FET Supra livery.
As for High Speed Ring, this honestly is one of the more faithful Gran Turismo track recreations I've come across. It feels almost like the same version found in Gran Turismo 5-6. The best part of this mod is of course having different times of day, you can race on HSR at night if you wanted to. I opted in this video for sunset as a referrence to how HSR was in the Gran Turismo 1 Test Drive disc demo.
