Assoluto Racing: 80s~90s JDM Realistic Performance Setup for Easy Drift "Slip Angle" Tutorial Vol.1
Mistakes:
+ Feb 17 2022: R34 V Spec II's horsepower should be 415hp for accurate mid speed acceleration.
1. Supra Mk3(A70)'s final drive could be 4.2 for Tsukuba. RX7 FC's final drive can be 4.8.
2. "Time to beat" screenshot at 8:38 is for Tsuchiya Street Special. It should be swapped with the screenshot at 9:11 which shows the Tsukuba laptime for 1990 TRD Light-Tuned AE86 Levin.
3. I forgot to include the normal S15 Silvia Spec R Aero setup. It is basically the same with the Nismo Siyo at 4:41, but the rear tires are street, final drive is a bit longer(final drive number smaller), and the suspension is pure unmodified stock.
4. "Time to beat" screenshot at 11:20 is for Silvia S13 K's at 10:54.

Anyway. The question: You might ask,
'Why do this? This is a stupid mobile game. Why are you being this serious?
Why not just move on to Assetto Corsa or Dirt Rally?'
Exactly. Because this is a free-to-play mobile game.
You need costly wheel and pedal setups to fully enjoy simracing titles
like AC and iRacing plus the fees.
I couldn't get around to doing those for a lot of reasons.
And Assoluto Racing provided a good enough physics engine and touch steering feel
to get close to actual simracing, but it fits in my pocket.
For "free."
And I wanted an answer to the question:
why does some cars in this game are so slow by default?
You take R32 or R33 GT-R unmodified to the Nurburgring, and you will notice that they are so painfully slow. Nowhere near to the cars you see in the legendary Nurburgring lap videos.
Regardless of what secret tunes they used, the unmodified cars in this game sucks. Badly.
You saw it in my other video titled "280ps in Assoluto Racing". "276hp" Mk4 Supra is quicker in straight line than NSX and GTR, which had 360hp and was lighter. Never mind the power and torque figure. All of them in real life came with the 280ps tag,
and NSX S-Zero, the model that is featured in Assoluto Racing, could and did beat Mk4 Supra in 0-400m drag AND top speed test at the test oval.
The real Nismo Z-Tune reached 276km/h in 2005 on the New Fuji' Speedway's main straight. The 500hp Z-Tune in this game can NEVER do that.
I have started this personal fact-finding mission a while ago, with this video: https://youtu.be/ef106jEcp5E
but back then,
the research just wasn't thorough enough.
I have done it properly with this 90s JDM setup pack.
The accurate Gan-san's NUR version R33 GT-R stats is included.
Of course, the laptimes will be much quicker
if you thrash them around,
but if you drive them like you would on a real track,
you will get real close to the laptimes of real cars.
I have done so much research and testing.
Now I can finally get a closure.

I am so burnt out. I worked and worked and worked, and worked but it just didn't seem to end. The first 3 quarters of the video has been compressed so badly because Kinemaster crashed again, so I had no choice but to use the backed-up video for editing. RIP Bit-rate. It might have given this video the authentic 80s-90s mushed up VHS feel, so if you see it, yes that was totally intentional.
