I've had several commenters tell me they always kill Astarion when they first meet him. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO THAT??? I mean, first of all, Astarion is the BEST. But also, it's an RPG!!! Why play an RPG if you're going to kill off the characters you RP with??? Isn't that undermining the whole entire point??!

Ahem.

So anyway, I discovered on Twitter that if you kill him and bring him back, there's a line of dialogue, so in my quest to retrieve EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF ACTING NEIL NEWBON DOES (omg Astarian brainworm so so bad), I have now recorded it, and I post it for you.

Surprisingly, the rest of the scene is the same as when you normally recruit him. There's just one line that's new. BUT IT'S ONE WHOLE LINE SO I MUST POST IT.

Am I right, fellow Astarion fans? ☺️
