while Alexis' spouse Aster Phoenix is my second favorite character next to Asuka herself, i think he gets more appreciation now by what an important character he is by his deep serious personality unlike the hyperactive and impatient Jaden. not only Alexis' husband Aster is smart, wise, kind and serious, but he's also very powerful with his Torrent Mode which to me is much cooler than Jaden and Heat Mode because i love drinking water and i love the color blue and the oceans considering that Edo is also water while Judai and Jack including Sherry are fire. Aster and Jaden's rivalry kinda is similar to Blue and Red's Pokemon Rivalry because of Destiny King vs Supreme King including Torrent vs Heat resembling and referencing Blastoise vs Charizard in Pokemon Origins when Blue defeated Red for the first time and got defeated back in a rematch and title match except that Aster is the more silent one instead of Jaden who's more hyperactive and busting all around. also what's cool about Aster is that he believes in good things coming from destiny even if his wife Alexis disagrees with him and explains to him that hard work, dedication, motivation and willpower is the key to success.
