Asterix for the master system had a ton of fans back in the day.

Stop the Tyrant!

The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Weill, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionnaires who garrison the fortified camps surrounding the village...

A magic potion concocted by the druid Getafix makes the villagers invincible. Thanks to Getafix and his chemical genius, the villagers have been able to
resist numerous attempts by the legionnaires to take over the village. Well aware of Getafix’s special talent. Caesar decides that the village doesn’t stand a chance without him and his potion. A small group of Caesar's best soldiers snatch Getafix as the druid takes a stroll just outside the village.

The villagers are at a loss. Their potion supply dwindling, they have to find Getafix or become just another part of the Roman Empire. Vitalstatistix, the
village chief, immediately orders Asterix and his boar-loving companion Obelix to find Getafix and bring him back at any cost. Won't you join them and help save the village?
