Star Citizen is a relatively new game, so new in fact it's in the early stages of development and isn't what you might call a completed product. That being said however, I've been keeping tabs on its' development and recently Champ who's been playing it longer than I have; talked me into buying into it so I can check it out before the next big patch hits (which should be at the end of next month).

In this video Champ and myself are looking the Arena combat part of the game, there's two versions of Arena combat - PVP and PVE. We try the PVE version against bots (Vanduul Swarm). I'd previously bought a Imperator subscription and using some of the REC from that hired a Sabre and Gladius in order to test them out and fly them in the Arena. This was my first flight out in the Sabre and due to the Zooming issue wasn't able to get the most out of it, I'll release another video soon showing a much more successful run through the Arena in the Sabre...

I've edited the footage down slightly from what was available, but left the majority of the game play intact for the duration of the battle.

Note: The "Zoom-in" issue I mention a couple of times during the battles is a bug in the current version and can be fixed by re-logging into the game.
