Broken as intended: Part 59 - Hull break/Reworked Kuban War Thunder Observations
With patch 1.69 came a large change to an old "arcade" map for ground forces called "Kuban", Gaijin in their "wisdom" decided to stretch the map out slightly width-wise; other than that it's just as bad as it was before and isn't what I'd call ideal tank country. As per usual Gaijin also decided to put in almost perfect positions from which to spawn camp, since that's the mission objective! ))))
This video shows one such "brilliant" piece of map design along with another feature added prior to 1.69 - Hull Breaking. As far as "hull breaking" goes it's another cheap "cop-out" from Gaijin in order to rectify/limit SPAA spam, yet they also decided to add said feature to non-SPAA units and therefore overall it just ruins gameplay and as per usual makes Gaijin look quite silly for implementing it into game. I'll probably release a "hull break" montage in the near future to show just how bad this "feature" really is in War Thunder.
I've edited the footage down significantly from what was available.
No Time Stamping.
Audio intact, just me on this one.
