Asteroids: Outpost, which has just released onto Steam Early Access, is so radically different from the 1979 source material that Ian thought he’d cobble together this little video comparing both games. Gone are the arcade shooter stylings of old and in their place are mining, crafting and base building mechanics, all taking place in an open world sandbox. Bonkers.
