A quick playthrough of the demo for Astra: Fading Stars, where stars are fading and shadow boogeymen are invading to mess things up for everyone but fortunately you can twirl and channel star powers that also acts as a parry (which I'm still not 100% clear on the timing). Celina has to probably find seven star amulets for the super sacred star skill to defeat the shadow king and return peace to the world.

Looks pretty good, plays pretty well too, especially as the demo doesn't tell you can pogo hazards but finding that out made for some good fun! The astral call ability is interesting but I'm not sure if a genuine dodge is given later on. Parrying feels a bit weird in this game but fortunately it's not necessary for most critters.
