Astro City Mini Unboxing and Testing! (and a Question in the Description)
5So the long awaited Astro City Mini from Limited Run Games has arrived! So far as I can tell the "English packaging" is just a poorly applied sticker with the LRG logo -- and by poorly I mean slapped on so hastily it's bubbling up on the box surface -- it wasn't laid down evenly or smoothly across the cardboard. I'd peel it up if that wouldn't make matters worse by ripping the box or leaving residue on it. ANYWAY in this video I unbox and test this mini tribute to the classic Sega arcade cabs in Japan. It has HDMI out so I'd like to use it wirelessly, but the Mayflash Magic-NS that I use with Neo Geo Mini doesn't seem to be compatible. I even updated the firmware on it to 1.32 -- no dice. It doesn't light up in P1 or P2 (and on P1 it's a REALLY tight fight next to the HDMI out -- so tight I'd almost rather not plug it in). I've seen other people say it works in their videos but I can't get it to do anything on mine, so does anybody watching have suggestions? If so leave them in the comments below.
