We revisit our base from previous episodes, complete with Medium Rovers and Large Rover, to take on the new Astroneer Rover Update, released early May 2018. We take them both for a spin to see how the new controls (absolute) feel SO much better than the weird old style.

We also see how to craft a Small Rover in this Astroneer 0.7.0 gameplay video. The Small Rover is the newest addition to the Rover family - it's cheap to research & print, and will truly overhaul the early game as you're able to go out and find supplies with minimal power. But there are downsides too!

For this Astroneer Rover Update video we also theorise that the new Small Rover would be perfect to go caving in, testing it out in a network of caves to see how easy it is to navigate all the stalagmites, copper ore outcrops and, er, massive drops!
