A test to see which relatively-modern games will run on this netbook. I give you Batman: Arkham Asylum.

*Basic Specs:
- Intel Atom D525 @ 1.8 GHz (dual-core, 2x 512 kB L2 cache)
- NVIDIA ION 2 (512 MB, Optimus technology)
- 2 GB DDR3 memory (800 MHz)
- Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit)
- 1366x768 pixels maximum resolution
- BIOS updated to revision 0605
- ION driver updated to version 266.58

*Running Apps:
Yahoo Messenger, uTorrent, Avast (Silent/Gaming Mode), Fraps

*NVIDIA settings:
Triple Buffering (enabled), Maximum Pre-rendered frames (5), others on default

GAME SETTINGS:
- Native Resolution (1280x720)
- Enabled Full Screen, V-Sync, Bloom, Dynamic Shadows, Ambient Occlusion
- Medium Detail Level
- Disabled others

*Framerate: ~10 to 28 fps
*Playability: Poor to Fair

*Remarks:
Framerate depends on where Batman is facing. Larger areas with tons of detail naturally cause framerates to drop. When outside buildings, framerate dips to ~7 fps and below. Audio stutters as well, which causes scenes to stutter. Applying the lowest settings will increase framerate. Other methods that may help smoothen gameplay would be through defragmentation of files, eliminating simultaneous processes, overclocking CPU/GPU, running the game on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 (thereby being granted the full 4 GB max RAM support), running the game on Windows XP -- among others.
