The ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 is a good motherboard. This has a PCIE 5.0 slot that enables double speeds compared to the previous DDR4 PCIE.
It is good that this has two variants as you will have the option to retain you current memory sticks if your coming from an older platform or to have a good upgrade path when ddr5 becomes readily available. Another point to consider this board is the abundance of parts that goes along with it as asus created this TUF gaming alliance where they collaborated with other brands in order to create aesthetically fitting parts that are compatible with the TUF gaming line. Finally, something to cure my obsessive compulsiveness.
