Internal documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center share a scary fact - the Department of Justice gave AT&T and CenturyLink immunity from wiretapping laws...so long as the carrier helped them spy.

That means that if you use AT&T's networks, the company was and is allowed to intercept your conversations, and face no consequences. The Obama administration expanded the monitoring, which was at first only to monitor defense contractors, and has been expanded to much more. The federal government should in no way be helping private companies evade laws, now actively enabling them into breaching privacy. How is this allowed? How is it still going on?

If you weren't already suspicious of your privacy being intruded upon because of CISPA, this should definitely do it.
