Sounds Played During Sleep Help Memory, Says Study
A study from researchers at the University of Tubingen in Germany say that certain sounds played during sleep could lead to a boost in memory. Scientists played "pink noise" (don't worry, examples are in this video) that rose and fell with the pattern of electrical activity in the subjects' brains.
According to the researchers, the subjects could remember series of words they were told before going to sleep, if they had pink noise synchronized with their brain waves. Could this be a field worth studying?
