In which I play "Captain Sticky's Gold", written by Steven Riding and published by English Software in 1983. Not a bad premise for a game. You control Captain Sticky, descending into the sea to collect gold that is presented on platforms, for some reason, by attaching a line from your ship so it can be hauled to the surface. There are a variety of obstacles as you progress through the levels, which are used nicely to gently ramp up the difficulty.
Graphics and sounds are effective, and pretty nicely done. This one is definitely worthy of some play time.
