2In which I play "Checkers", published by Odesta in 1982, programmed by David Slate. This game has a 45 page manual which will teach you all about the nuances of the software, and there are a lot of options you can choose in order to thoroughly explore the game. I think this would be an excellent resource for learning how to play checkers well. You can roll back moves, you can set the skill level of the computer, you can have the computer play itself and watch how strategies play out.
What you don't want to do is watch this is you expect to see me win at checkers. I stink.
