Atari 2600 Game Play, Haunted House
5"Haunted House" was released by Atari in 1981. I have had a weird relationship, or non-relationship with this game over the last 44 years. I was always slightly intimidated to play it for some reason. Now that I've played it, there's no real reason for me to have felt that way.
Anyway, it's a decent game, considered a classic by some who loved it back in the day. Find the three pieces of the urn in the haunted house. You've got 9 lives to lose, which happens every time one of the creatures roaming around the house touches you. There's a scepter that will keep them from harming you (in most game variations), locked doors for which you need the master key ... and that's most of it right there. Return to the entry hall and exit the house to win...if you can!
