9In which I play "Cross Fire 2", published by ... uh ... I'm not sure. It seems there was a similar release by Sierra On-Line from 1981, but it is in a lower resolution graphics mode than this one. The game looks to be pretty much the same from the screen shots on Atari Mania.
Anyhoo, this is a decent enough game. It is fairly slow paced, and is challenging. It doesn't feel unfair though, which, if you watch my stuff, you will know is one of my triggers. A player ought to feel like there's a chance they can get better. This one does have that going for it.
The high-resolution graphics are nice too.
