7In which I play "Death Race", written by Simon Leck, and published by Atlantis Software in 1987. This game is simple, but there is some fun to be had here. Pass enough cars and your play time is extended. Graphics are not terribly inspired, but they are functional. The same can be said about the sound. What is quite nice is the way the backdrop for the game changes. Clever use of colour and a number of different landscapes, which are mixed and matched, makes for a nice ambience.
