13In which I play "Dimension X", published by Synapse in 1984, written by Steve Hales. This game has more than a bit of similarity with "Star Raiders". It's not exactly like that esteemed game, and has a number of elements all its own. You pilot a craft flying just above the surface of a planet, divided into sectors by rings of mountains. Protect the capital at all costs. Keep a close eye on the fuel remaining, and eliminate all the invaders. It is graphically stunning, and as a strategy and combat game, it is reasonably involving.
